Types of flight in Paragliding-

Usually, there are two kinds of flights-
  1. Short flight :In a short flight the person is taken 100-150 mts up the slope and he/she takes a flight along with the pilot in the two seater paraglider. The time consumed by the flight is about 60 to 90 seconds. Such flight is also known as Tandem Glider because it carries people who are new and inexperienced in the sphere of paragliding.
  2. High flight :High flight involves a flight for about 20-30 minutes. This flight is arranged at Kothi, Fatru and Bijli Mahadev. Such kind of flight is meant mainly for those who are an experienced hand at the short flights.

Tips for an exciting Paragliding

  1. Be careful about your clothing. Wear rough trousers, ankle shoes or sturdy ones, and woolen shirt, jacket or sweater as weather is cold here.
  2. See that you are physically fit and do not have any problem of heart disease, epilepsy, breathing problem or any other serious ailment.
  3. Check out your insurance. In case of an accident or mishap, you need to be supported.
