Abhaneri is a small town located in the Dausa village of Indian State of Rajasthan. Situated on the Jaipur-Agra road, around ninety five kms from Jaipur, the village is famous by its local name 'Chand Baori'. Lots of tourists from nearby villages and adjacent states visit the place for sight-seeing and spend quality time on weekends with their family members and friends. According to some beliefs, the village Abhaneri is believed to be built up by King Raja Chand who is a mythological representation of Raja Bhoja. In the ninth century AD, he was the ruler of Gurjar community wherein ruins found gives the evidence of 10th century architecture and sculpture.
