Lalgarh palace is a very beautiful palace built of red sandstone. Maharaja Ganga Singhji built it in 1902. This is a hybrid structure of European style, Rajputana style and Muslim style all blended into a beautiful structure. Col Sir Swinton Jacob designed this palace and the palace and it can be called as Indo-Saracenic style. The latticework and filigree work is amazing. At present it is converted into a heritage hotel and maintained by the Welcome Heritage group.
