Guindy Snake Park, Chennai is acclaimed as the only national park situated inside a city. The Guindy National Park is a 2.82 Km stretch that is rich in biodiversity. Also known as the Madras Snake Park the place was established way back in 1952. It is one of the favorite tourist spots in Chennai. The snake park gained the stature of a medium zoo in the year 1995.

The park is closed on Tuesday. It is open for public viewing for all other days between 9.00 am - 5.30 pm.
