Chidambaram
Chidambaram is a lovely and charming town! It is located in the east-central parts of Tamil Nadu state of Southeastern India. However, it is situated in the Coleroon River Valley. The Madras Thanjavur road and the Rail system connects the Chidambaram. This town is also known as Thillai. Literally, it means the sky permeated by the atmosphere of Wisdom and intelligence. However, this pilgrimage center is one of the five Shaivite mukti sthalams. The other four-pilgrimage center includes the Kalahasti, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, and Tiruvanaikaval.
