Rangat is carefully tucked in the Middle Andaman. Rangat is at a distance of 210 kms from Port Blair and 70 kms south of Mayabunder.
How to Reach Rangat Island
Rangat is nicely connected by sea route and road. Boat services are available daily from Port Blair to Rangat Bay (Nimbutala Village) through Havelock and Neil Island. Morning bus services between Port Blair and Rangat are available. The travel time is approximately 6-7 hours. Road from Port Blair to Rangat passes through Jarawa reserves located on the west coasts of South and Middle Andaman.
You can use the above mentioned road transport between Port Blair and Rangat through Kadamtala and Baratang bay. To cross every bay the vehicle has to be transported over a ferry boat (locally known as vehicle ferry) in order to reach the other end of road.
Tourist Attractions at Rangat Island
