Government museum is one of the oldest museums of Rajasthan state and was established in 1915 A.D. it has a fine collection of paintings, rare manuscripts, idols and very beautiful statues of Laxminarayan, Lord Vishnu. Krishna, Ardhanarishwar, Nataraj amd Trimurti.
Bhawani Natyashala is the most unusual theater in India. This theater was constructed in 1921 A.D. and Parsi theater was performed there.
Rein Basera is a picturesque wooden cottage on the banks of Kishan sagar pond and is a very good picnic spot. The most amazing thing about this cottage is that it was build in a different spot and as later transported.
Chandrabhaga temple lies on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River and was build in the 7th century. There are temples and intricately carved pillars and arched gateways in the temple. The temple of Shantinath Jain is also noteworthy and has very fine murals and exquisite sculptures.
Gagron fort was built over several centuries like 8th to 18th century and has witnessed many battles. This fort is surrounded by tranquil waters of the ahu and kali Sindh Rivers on the three sides. There is a beautiful mausoleum of a Sufi saint Mitheshah just outside the fort and is a venue of a colorful fair during Muharram.
Jhalrapatan ruins cover an area of more than a mile from east to west and about a mile from north to south. It is famous for very beautiful and large temples. The most famous of the temples is the Sitaleshwar Mahadeva. Other temples of Kalika devi, Varaha Avtar and Jain temple of Shantinath are equally beautiful.
