- GMVN tourist rest house- Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam operates a tourist complex at Dak Pathar on Dehradun-Chakrata road. The place is a site for a Hydel project. Situated on the banks of river Yamuna in the foothills of Shivalik ranges in lower Himalayas, the place is a recently constructed adventure and amusement park. A heavenly site with glistening foliage and sprawling lawns, the place puts forward lots of thrilling adventurous sports. The main lure of the tourist complex is a fully operational customary size swimming pool with outstanding services. Trained swimmers are present there to help you out to practice and play in the pool. Other recommended water sports are water skiing, boating, canoeing, sailing and hovercraft ride. The food offered at the guest house is fine and hygienic too. The accommodation options are dormitory and separate rooms. The facilities provided at the rest house are satisfactory.
- Snow Lion Estate- Snow Lion Estate, sited across the river from Kalsi village, is one of the few accommodation alternatives available in this region. It is a very old lodge of the British era which has been reinstated and refurbished by its present owners- General Gurdeep and Rano Uban.

Also, a few docile species of animals that have descended down form nearby forests like rabbit, mongoose and foxes may also be observed.

Although room service is lacking but the menu and meal timings are predetermined so that visitors can plan out their excursion trips accordingly.
