Kotagiri
Kotagiri is a small and quiet village. It is located near about 28 km east of Ooty in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is situated at an altitude of 1950m. Kotagiri is the spectacular hill resort. Droog Fort is situated near to Coonoor. However, this fort is located at a height of around 6000 feet above the sea level. Moreover, it is also said that, the great Tippu Sultan used this fort for his outpost.
