Kumbhalgarh is a place in Rajasthan and one of the famous tourist destinations. The major attraction is the Kumbhalgarh fort. It is cradled in the beautiful Aravalli ranges and belongs to the 15th century. Rana Kumbha built it and the most impressive sight is the sprawling citadel on the hilltop. There are a number of interesting ruins around the fort and there are many magnificent palaces and havelis. There are many castle type cottages in Aohdi, which are also a major tourist attraction.

By Air: The nearest airport to Kumbhalgarh is the Udaipur airport situated 84 kms away. You can take a taxi or a state travel bud from Udaipur and reach Kumbhalgarh, which is situated at a distance of two and a half hours drive.

By Rail: The nearest railway station to Kumbhalgarh is the Ratlam railway station and this is connected to all the major railway stations in the country.

By Road: Kumbhalgarh is reachable by road from Udaipur and Ranakapur. You can hire a bus or a private car and reach Kumbhalgarh. The roads are in very good condition and driving is a very pleasant experience.
