- Lahaul and Spiti by Air: Delhi is the most convenient city to access the Himalayans. Bhuntan airport in Kullu is the nearest airport for Lahaul Spiti and it is well connected to other parts of India. After reaching Bhuntan airport you can either hire taxi or take a bus to Lahaul and Spiti.
- Lahaul and Spiti by railway: Jogindernagar is the closest narrow gauge railhead to Lahaul and Spiti. Shimla and Chandigarh are two broad gauge railheads for Lahaul and Spiti. Numbers of private taxi and bus services are available from the station to Lahaul and Spiti.
- Lahaul and Spiti by road: Manali is well connected by road to all parts of the country. After reaching Manali you can either hire taxi or take bus to Lahaul and Spiti. Visitors can travel by inter state buses or private tourist buses. Apart from buses there are private cars and jeeps that can be hired by the tourists to move in and around the city.
