Kavaratti Beach is an important tourist attraction in Lakshadweep: The Kavaratti Beach is attractive tranquil tarn and is a perfect location for people who love water sports and also for people who want to spend their time basking in the sun. This place is the headquarters of Administration, and it also has the famous Ajara and Jamnath mosques. Though there are 52 other mosques also but these two have the finest wood carving and the Ajara mosque even as a carved ceiling made of driftwood. Tourists also spend time in viewing the marine life exhibits in the new aquarium here. Sailing yachts and Kayaks are also available on hire to enjoy the marine life and people can also enjoy aquatic life through glass bottomed boats available here.

Kalpeni Beach is one of the famous Lakshadweep beaches: This beach is popular for its picturesque beauty with the tiny islets Tikkam and Pitti. A unique characteristic of the Kalpeni coral reef is the mammoth store of coral rubble all along its south-eastern shore. Vacationers can enjoy a swim or indulge themselves in water sports on kayaks or can even take a reef walk here.

Minicoy Beach is a popular beach in Lakshadweep: This beach is on the beautiful crescent shaped island of Lakshadweep which happens to be the southernmost island in the whole bunch of islands. This place has a unique Maldivian spirit and also has one of the biggest lagoons.

Kadamat Beach is a major tourist spot in Lakshadweep: This place is said to be ideal for tourists who wish to stay here for some time. Beautiful huts are located in the coconut palm coppices which face the water making it an ideal stay option. The beach is 8 Kms long and the widest point of the beach is 550 m.

Bangaram Beach is an admirable tourist attraction of Lakshadweep: Though this is an uninhabited island but it is the only one of its kind which is open to foreign tourists. Apart from a wealth of beautiful coral formations this tear shaped island even has superb beaches and people can also enjoy water sports here too.
