The plants such as Termianalia, Paniculata, Lagerstroemia, Lanceolata, and Veteria Indica are found abundantly at the partial evergreen plots of sanctuary. Animals found in the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary includes Monkeys, Reptiles (snakes and monitor Lizards), Panthers , Tigers , civets cats, Jungle cats, Bears, deer and Bison and many more. The Birds found in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary includes Cuckoos, Peacock, Woodpecker, Babbler, Jungle fowl, owl and many more.
