Devashola is blessed with the diverse animal species living together in unity. They form the representation and exhibition of nature. An endangered mountain goat, Nilgiri Tahr, zoologically known as Hemitragus hylocrius is a common feature in the peak of Devashola.

Variety in the mosses, fungi, land lichens and algae are the common feature of Devashola mountain range. Other then these, Miliusa nilagirica, Ceropegia decaisneana, Ceropegia pusilla and Senecio kundaicus are few of the rare and vulnerable species of flora found in Devashola.
