    1. Mukteshwar temple: Mukteshwar temple is considered as one of the sacred places to visit. A 350 year old temple, also known as 'Mukteshwar Dham' and is devoted to Lord Shiva. Situated atop a hill, the temple has a white marble Shivling with a copper yoni. The Shivling is surrounded by idols of Gods Brahma, Vishnu, Parvati, Hanuman, Ganesh and Nandi. The temple attracts a lot of devotees during the annual Shivratri festival. The temple can be reached by climbing a series of winding and steep stone stairs.
    2. Chauli-ki-Jali : Chauli Ki Jali is situated adjacent to the Mukteshwar temple at the hilltop of the calm and secluded corner. As per mythology, it is believed that a demon and a goddess fought a battle in this place and bleak outlines in the place are to be seen which resemble a sword, a shield and a trunk of an elephant which stands as the testimony of the battle. This place also provides opportunity for rock climbing and rappelling. According to a local belief, the wishes made here are certainly fulfilled.

Indian Veterinary Research Institute: A British legacy, IVRI is one of the leading advanced research facilities engaging in live stock research and is dedicated to the development of the region. It came into being in the year 1893 on the recommendation of the Cattle Plague Commission. Its main function is research and to assist & quarantine highly infectious organisms. In the campus, one can see various departments for research, animal nutrition, genetics and bacteriology.
    4. Mukteshwar Museum and Library: A library and a museum are also located inside the IVRI campus. There are loads of books in the library while the museum preserves the heritage and values of the IVRI.
    5. Mukteshwar Inspection Bungalow: The PWD inspection Bungalow in Mukteshwar is an architectural wonder. Situated close to the Mukteshwar temple, it is considered as one of the major landmarks in the town. The bungalow has lush green surroundings and beautiful views which makes it a must see in the hill station. Blessed with amazing beauty and magnificent architecture, the bungalow has a unique charm of its own. From here, one can experience the sunrise point, a very mesmerizing experience of dawn.
    6. Ramgarh: Ramgarh is a scenic sleepy village located in the centre of apple, plum, peaches and apricot orchards not too far away from Mukteshwar. Visitors can enjoy the wonderful view of the Himalayan ranges from this place.
    7. Sitla: A cute hill station, with an altitude of 6000 ft, nestled in the midst of verdant orchards in the Kumaon area close to Mukteshwar, is a highly valued tourist attraction. The place offers an enchanting view of the beautiful and reverberating majestic scenes of Himalayas.
