What to See in Bangalore
Bangalore is notable as the IT hub of India. Employment opportunities attract people in large numbers to this city but the city has in recent years have grown as an important tourist destination in the southern part of India. The foundations for Vidhana Soudha also known as the Legislative House of Karnataka, was laid by the honorable Prime Minister of India in the year 1951, Sri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. However it was built by the then Chief Minister of Mysore, Sri K. Hanumanthaiya. This historical landmark is one of the finest specimens of neo Dravidian architecture. Comparatively, the Vikasa Soudha is one of the modern buildings placed close to Vidhana Soudha and comes fitted with the latest gadgets to help administer the state better.
Rightly called the Garden City, Bangalore is well notable for lustrous gardens. Instrumental in keeping the city pollution free and giving the locals a place to rejuvenate their weary souls, Bangalore has quite a good number of old and newly laid gardens.
