Explore the wildlife of Chail with a visit to the Chail Sanctuary. Interspersed by dense Deodar, Pine and Oak forests, Chail is home to a varied species of wildlife which includes Sambar, Barking Deer, Goral, Wild Boar, ordinary Langur, Rhesus Macaque, Leopards, Porcupine and black Bear. Spread over a total area of 110 kilometer square, the months of March to October are the perfect time to visit. The Sanctuary came into being in the year 1976 on 21st March.
