Once visited, you simply would like to visit again and again. Reaching Coorg is not a concern at all. Well connected by air, rail and road, Coorg can be easily reached from many important places in South India.

Coorg is not served by any airport. The closest airport to Coorg is at Mangalore. A number of domestic flights connect Mangalore to other destinations across the country. Mangalore is situated at a distance of 135 kilometers from Coorg. The city of Mysore is located very near to Coorg. A drive will take you only two and a half hours to reach the city. It is also the nearest rail terminus to Coorg from where long distance trains are available to other states across the country. Tourists can also take trains from Hassan and Mangalore.

Coorg is linked to a number of important cities in Karnataka via a good network of roads. It is quite convenient to reach Bangalore, Mangalore, Hassan and Mysore from Coorg. Tourists can also operate for the buses operated by the SKRTC. The buses cross through Madikeri via Mangalore to reach Coorg.

Coorg can also be reached from Bangalore. There are practically two routes. One goes via Mysore, which is followed most often and the other route taken passes places like Neelamangal, Chanrayapatna and Kunigal. All these are located on the National Highway.
