The main attraction in Pokran is the Pokran fort. The fort was built in the 14th century citadel and is also known as Balagarh. You can stay here and enjoy the view of the ornamentally carved red sandstones of the mahal. The traditional jharokas and the grand turrets give a peep into the royalty and reflect the fusion of the Rajput and Mughal style of Architecture. You can look at the in-house museum of the family collection of the armory, garments, handicrafts and the miniature paintings. The grand library has classic books dedicated to the great Rao Bahadur Rajshree Thakur.
There is a beautiful lake called as Salam Sagar situated in the backyard of the fort. Ramdevsar is another attractive spot, which is very beautiful during the rainy season. The lakes are frequented by migratory birds and inhibited by tortoises. Pokran is also a home to the shrine of the deity Ramdeoji who is considered as the reincarnation of Lord Krishna. A fair named after him is held for 10 days in the month of September and people all over come to visit the place.
The Jain temple near Gandhi chowk has a cluster of three temples. It has temples of Adeshwar Bhagwan, Chintamani Parshwanath and Shanti Parashwanath. These temples are very important pilgrimage centers for the Jain community and are one of the five centers of worship.
