    Rajahmundry is a quiet little city on the left banks of River Godavari and boasts of having Asia's largest Rail- cum Road Bridge which links Kovvur to Rajahmundry. It is also an eminent city with renowned temples and mesmerizing scenic beauty.

    Connectivity via Road: Rajahmundry is very well connected via road to all the parts of the state. The NH-5 highway passes from here due to which it is well connected to Calcutta- Chennai (through Bhubaneswar- Vishakhapatnam- Rajahmundry- Vijayawada). One national and two state highways pass through Rajahmundry due to which it is well connected to all the metropolitan and major cities of India like Annavaram, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Chennai, Calcutta and Lucknow.

    Connectivity via Rail: Rajahmundry is luckily well connected via rail also. It has one of the biggest railway stations in the entire Andhra Pradesh and as per records the city is one of the top revenue generators for South Central Railways. Almost all the trains running on the Howrah-Chennai route has their stoppage here. Rajahmundry is well connected to the state capital as well. A number of trains run from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry on a daily basis.

    Connectivity via Air: The city does have an airport due to which it is directly connected via air also. Initially it had flights only from Hyderabad and Bangalore via Kingfisher Red airline but currently it is well connected to other major cities in India like Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, etc also. Other airlines like Jet Airways and Air Deccan also have their flights to and from Rajahmundry.

    Connectivity via Water: With major development in the tourism industry water connectivity has also taken a new dimension. The government has taken interest in the water- way transport and has made an excellent platform for Rajahmundry to swank itself as a water- way transport centre. As of now the water way transport serves only for few purposes like tourism, pilgrimage etc.
