- Chaubatia Gardens- Chaubatia gardens, positioned about 10 kms away from Ranikhet, are renowned for apple orchards. It is one of the largest horticulture gardens in the country with 36 varieties of apples. A vantage spot resting in the midst of garden, the place commands a magnificent view of the Himalayas. Apart from buying succulent apricots, peaches, apples, plums and other alpine fruits, one can also buy fresh juices and honey from here. The Government Apple Garden and the Fruit Research Center, attached to the Gardens are the major attraction of the place.
- Upat Kalika- Upat Kalika, located about 6 kms from Sadar Bazaar on Almora road, is the spot of one of the highest golf course of Asia. The highland of Upat has a 9-hole golf course encircled by high pine trees where even tourists can enjoy the game. Situated at a high altitude, the place summons the magnificent vistas of the Himalayas.
- Bhalu Dam- A close by attraction of Ranikhet, Bhalu dam is a small artificial lake. The place is blessed with nature's bounties offering scenic views of the Himalayas, captivating tranquility and pictorial ambiance. A petite pretty garden is situated close by suitable for a picnic.
- Jhula Devi Temple- Sited in isolated and peaceful environs near Ranikhet, the Jhula Devi temple is a monument of 8th century. Venerated to Goddess Durga, the main feature of the temple is the imperial bunch of skillfully made chimes. The jingle of these bells could be heard from long distances. Devotees throng this temple to seek the blessings of the goddess.
- Mankameshwar Temple- Built in 1978, by the Kumaon regiment of Indian Army for armed forces, Mankameshwar temple is situated near the NarSingh Maidan in Ranikhet. The temple is dedicated to Ma Kalika, Radha-Krishna and Shiva-Parvati. Just opposite to the temple is situated a Gurudwara and a shawl factory which are worth a visit.
- Hairakhan Dham- Hairakhan temple, situated just 4 kms from Ranikhet was erected by Shri Hairakhan Maharaj, who was an admired saint in the region. According to the legend, he was an incarnation of lord Shiva and fables of his influence are very popular amongst the local populace.
- Binsar Mahadev Temple- Located 19 kms away from Ranikhet, Binsar Mahadev is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. With idols of Ganesha, Har Gauri and Maheshmardini in its sanctorum, it is a unique place for a spree as well as meditation. Constructed in 9th century by King Pithu in the reminiscence of his father, the temple boasts of marvelous architecture. The temple is situated in the midst of pine and deodar trees with a ravishing stream flowing nearby.
- Kumaon Regimental Centre (KRC) Museum and Memorial- KRC museum, established in 1974, was set up as a representation of valor and crucial forfeit of armed forces.
