It runs from one bank of Ganga to the other bank. The mountains covered in green, river flowing from beneath all combined together create a panoramic view. From here, Ganga appears serene and very tempestuous. River rafting crews can be spotted passing underneath the bridge on the way to their white water expeditions.

Swarg Ashram: As the name suggests, it is a beautiful place situated in serene surroundings at the foot of Himalayas on the left bank of Ganga between Rishikesh & Laxmanjhula. It is a very spiritual place since it has many temples & ashrams. Here you can find the caves still inhabited by sadhus or hermits. The beautiful statues in the area mesmerize the tourists.
Parmarth niketan: One of the few ashrams left in India where kids get the Vedic education.
Gita Bhawan: This building is famous for its attractive paintings & statues from the Hindu mythology. It is situated just across Laxman Jhula.
Neelkanth Mahadeo Temple: One of the most revered temples of Rishikesh; it is situated at a height of 1675 m on a hill above Swargashram. It is about 12 kms from Rishikesh and the area is surrounded by peaceful forests. According to the Indian mythology, this is the site where Lord Shiva drank the poisonous potion which came out as a result of the churning of the ocean.
Trayambakeshwar temple: it is situated at the bank of Lakshman Jhula. It is 13 stories high, with each of the thirteen stories dedicated to different deities throughout.
Triveni ghat: At this ghat people take a holy dip in the morning & even at the evenings and enjoy the Maha Aarti being performed. It is very soothing and relaxing to sit on the banks of the river and enjoy the cool breeze from the river.
