    1. Day 1
    2. Hosagadde-Shaale Mane

On reaching Hosagadde, catch the track big as jeep track. The treading will bring you to a temporary bridge where the route divides. Catch the right and walk till the path drops into a stream. Move left before hitting the stream. Now climb over a wooden gate and head north-west to reach a typical Malnad house. Catch the path turning into a jeep track now. Walking on it will bring you to nice little waterfalls. Head north following the jeep track. You will manage to reach Dabbe Falls. From here, march to reach Shaale Mane. You can camp here.

    1. Day 2
    2. Shale Mane-Doctor Mane

Follow the jeep track till it forks. Catch the left path, enter the fields and cross the Dam you checked. Now descend to reach the road to Kanoor. The road leads you through some wonderful forests. The Kanoor Fort is about 1 km away but look out for the spot where the path forks. After admiring the Fort, move back to the fork. Catch the other path and slope down. On reaching down, the first house you see belongs to a doctor who allows you to stay in his verandah but no provision of food is there. You have to leave early carrying plenty of water as the next part is a tedious one. The beautiful path compensates the tiring trek and the chance to spot wild animals add to the gains.
