    Trekking Talathmane Circuit in Karnataka :

    1. Day 1
    2. Talathmane-Devastur

    The base camp at Talathmane is 500m from the Bhagamandala junction. Start treading through plantations admiring pepper, cardamom and coffee plantations. On reaching state Highway SH88 wind your way to Abbi Falls which are at a distance of about 4-5 kms from Talathmane. The British named them 'Jessie Falls' but the name 'Abbi Falls' prevailed. Tread on and enter a forest where you'll meet several streams. The path carries you to a point which marks the beginning of a plantation. On reaching Devastur, you'll find a nice campsite located near a stream.

    2. Devastur-Mokkudlu

    Start with crossing the stream near your campsites Now march to the forests and climb uphill. Marching ahead takes you to Kotte Abbi-a watering hole. Hattihole stream here tempts you for a dive. Marching ahead will bring you to campsite at Mukkodlu.

    1. Day 3
    2. Mukkodlu-Kaloor via Mandalpatti

    Walk west and witness wonderful shola forests. Now ascend to overlook Mandalpatti road and have spectacular sight of hills. Head towards south now and descend to Kaloor. From here, your campsite is about an hour's march away.

    2. Kaloor-Vanachalu

    Target Ajimotte today. On climbing up the peak, you'll have beautiful view around. Descend to Madikeri-Subramanya Road. Treading on will bring you to Vanachalu Plantations. You can comfortably camp here.

    2. Vanachalu-Talathmane via Nishanemotte

    Leave the trail out of Vanachalu and start climbing the hills. During Nishanemotte climb, you face a tough time. It provides fabulous views. Slope down is treacherous and you have to be very careful. Moving to south takes 3 hours. While walking through the mud road, you will come across almost every kind of spice and fruit plantation. Retrace to the base camp at Talathmane.
